I often start my work by asking, “What if?” 🤔 And what if the ice sculptures’ melting became part of the event instead of a verdict?
In my experience, this case often shows me that the difference between a problem and its solution is how you look at it, so it’s worth looking at things from a different angle. The first solution is not always the best, and it might cause new and unexpected problems. The key is to keep looking and being open to other people’s ideas, as these skills help you figure out what you need now at the time & in the long run.
However, in our everyday work, all choices begin with the client. Each of them has different needs, and I think the most important thing is to know your client and understand his business very well before applying any individual solutions.
Problem-solving isn’t a straightforward and planned procedure. Instead, it’s a jumbled mess that doesn’t always correspond to reasoning and ideas. So, the remedy is to clean up the mess & try to get closer to the goal.
opoto is always trying to set accurate objectives to achieve. Because only after we put one foot in the right direction can we figure out where the rest of the path might be taking us. 🛸
So, in my experience, to achieve your goals, you have to keep figuring out three things:
- Where are you standing now?
- Where do you want to be in the future?
- What’s your next step?
Don’t expect everything in a day :)
Take one step at a time & enjoy your journey! 🐾
